Hi, everyone. I am Dr. Casey Monette, the director of Oakwood Christian Academy (OCA). 

OCA was developed from Oakwood’s Baptist Church’s 100 Days of Prayer where God revealed to the church congregation that it should focus on creating “a united, trained church body that ministers to all age groups.” The school was developed to do just this by using the church facilitates to reach school-age children by teaching them academic content that is integrated with biblical truths. By teaching in this manner, students are then equipped with an academic foundation and God’s truth, so they can become the salt of the world and be prepared to engage with individuals who may not know Christ and his promises for salvation in their future careers and educational endeavors.
